She calls me Lothar. My name is different. I am a mirror for her. She looks at me with warmth and a brightening smile.

Her gaze meets mine. Dissonance. Three gazes meet. Meeting without encountering one another. Without resonance. Mirror glass that can break. One side matte. Silver sheen.

She takes my hand. The hand outside her gaze. I feel and yet nothing. She looks warmly into my eyes. Into the eyes of the other.

I turn the mirror. Another gaze. I see myself.
